For the first time since 2006 one of Eleanor’s paintings will be going up for sale. Eleanor’s painting ZEST will be auctioned as part of a fundraiser and grand opening of the Nipissing Region Curatorial Collectives’s (NRCC) Northern Ontario Visual Arts Hive (NOVAH) and for the Friends of Temagami.
ZEST, from 2004, was in shows at Renee’s Cafe and Art in Public Places. It is 28″ by 48″ acrylic on raw canvas. It has an interesting story as it is one of the paintings she started in the mid 70s, and then, after moving to Bear Mountain, she added to it in 2003-4 to produce the finished work.(See video below)
